CLP label generator for candles & wax melts
Make the CLP warning label for a scented candle or wax melt from your fragrance supplier's safety data sheet. Pick the classifications it lists for your product at your fragrance load, choose the EU, Great Britain or Northern Ireland, and the label is built for you in your browser: the official pictograms, one signal word, the hazard statements, the EUH208 line and the UFI rule for your region. An EU label prints in any of 23 EU languages, each from its own language version of CLP. Then size and style it and export a print-ready label. Building and previewing the label is free; you pay only to export it. Selling in the UK? The UK candle CLP guide walks through what the GB rules ask for and where they differ from the EU.

Hazard classification
Tick every classification your fragrance supplier's CLP / safety document lists for the finished product at your fragrance load. The tool covers the classes listed here. If your document lists one that is not here (for example H361, H373 or EUH066), a label from this tool will be missing it: add that statement, and any pictogram or signal word it brings, to the label yourself.
A picked statement is added in the label's language, in Annex IV's own words, and follows the label when you change its language. Where the text offers a choice ("/"), a blank ("…") or a part in square brackets, edit the line to what applies.

Print-ready label
Exports are the paid step. Everything else, including the declaration and the notes, is free.
Pictograms are the official UNECE GHS artwork (CLP Annex V), embedded at print resolution and exported in the PDF. Print each at least 10 mm per side (and keep the whole label legible) so it meets the CLP minimum size.
Saved designs
Designs save in this browser, and to your account when signed in. An uploaded logo is not part of a saved design; add it again after loading one.
Low contrast between sticker and text (under 3:1). A hazard label has to be legible; pick a darker text or a lighter sticker.
From 1 January 2028, the text of a hazard label for the EU or Northern Ireland must be black on a white background, in a single font without serifs, with lines at least 120% of the font size apart (CLP Annex I, section 1.2.1.5, added by Regulation (EU) 2024/2865). This label's font has serifs or its colours are not black on white; until then the choice is yours.
Print several on one sheet (A4 or US Letter)
For printing at home: copies of this label on one page, to cut out along the marks or to print onto a sheet of ready-cut labels.
Print it at 100 % ("Actual size"), not "Fit to page". Try one on plain paper first and hold it against your sheet, up to the light, to check the fit.
The ready-cut layouts come from the sheet makers' published templates (Label Planet for A4, OnlineLabels for US Letter). Other brands' sheets with the same number and size of labels are usually laid out the same way.
