Small Print Labels assists you; it does not replace your legal responsibility for your product.

Who you are dealing with

Small Print Labels is operated as a sole trader based in Sweden. These terms are governed by Swedish law. If you are a consumer, that does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country you live in, and you keep the right to bring proceedings there.

The tool assists; you remain responsible

Small Print Labels helps you produce an ingredient declaration or hazard label, but you are responsible for your product and for what its label says under the laws that apply to you. Always verify output against the official texts. Nothing here is legal or professional advice.

Acceptable use

Use the tools for your own products or those of clients you work for. Do not attempt to scrape the reference tables wholesale, resell access, or present the output as certified by anyone. The official texts themselves are public; our transcription, checks and presentation are not.

Purchases

What you buy is software access: a subscription or a one-off design pass that unlocks exports from the label tools. Every export is a digital file (PDF, PNG or SVG) delivered in your browser, for you to print yourself or send to any label printer. Nothing physical is produced or shipped.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the merchant of record for all our orders, and handles all customer service enquiries and returns for them. Your contract of sale is with Paddle, they appear on your statement, and their own terms apply to the transaction alongside these.

Outside the United States that reseller is Paddle.com Market Ltd, 30 Old Bailey, London EC4M 7AU, United Kingdom (company number 08172165). For buyers in the United States it is Paddle.com Inc., 3811 Ditmars Blvd #1071, Astoria, NY 11105, USA.

Prices are shown inclusive of VAT where prices are shown that way by law (the EU and the UK). Elsewhere, notably the United States, prices are shown before tax and Paddle adds any sales tax at checkout, before you pay. Subscriptions renew until cancelled, and you can cancel yourself at any time from your account. See the refund policy.

Your account

Sign-in links are personal to you. You can delete your account at any time from your account, which erases your saved work. If a subscription is still due to be billed, cancel it first (the cancel link is on the same page) so the card is not charged for an account that no longer exists; a cancelled subscription does not hold up deletion. We may suspend an account that is being used to attack or abuse the service, and will refund any unused paid period if we do.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. The underlying data is transcribed from the official texts and checked against them, but always read the notes the tool shows before relying on a label.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the tool or reliance on its output, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited, and your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Complaints

If something has gone wrong, tell us first: messages are usually answered within one working day, and most problems are solved there. If you are a consumer and we cannot agree, you can take the matter to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), Sweden's alternative dispute resolution body, whose own guidance is at arn.se, or to the consumer body in your own country. Be aware that ARN applies a minimum claim value that a single purchase at these prices will usually fall under, so talking to us first is not a formality: it is the route most likely to actually resolve it. Because your contract of sale is with Paddle, their complaints route (on your receipt) is open to you as well.

Changes

We may update these terms over time. Continued use of the tool means you accept the current version.
