Small Print Labels turns what a maker already knows (a recipe, a supplier's declaration) into a correct, current compliance label, with a tool for each product type: soap, skincare & body, candles & wax melts, home fragrance and food & drink. This is the part of labelling that is genuinely hard to get right by hand.
Why it exists
Take the first tool, soap. Makers must label ingredients by their INCI names, in the right order, with fragrance allergens declared once they cross a threshold. Free calculators handle bits of this, but the allergen maths is fiddly and the rules differ by market: the EU's declarable-allergen list recently expanded from 26 to around 80, Great Britain kept the older list, and the US has its own regime with a soap exemption. Getting it wrong risks a customs hold or a complaint. Every product type has rules like these, and Small Print Labels does the same one job properly for each, per region.
How it works
It's a deterministic rules engine, not an AI guess. Saponification, the 1% cutline, ordering, and the allergen calculation are computed from encoded rules, and every regulatory value is traced to the official text it came from. Where a value can't be verified against a primary source, the tool flags it for review rather than inventing an answer.

This tool assists you; you remain responsible for your product's compliance. Small Print Labels's ingredient and allergen data is transcribed from the official regulatory texts and source-audited against them, and the audit runs as a regression test on every change. Always check the review notes it shows before using a label commercially.
